Compare adjustable footrests for a seated desk setup

An adjustable footrest can provide a support surface when your chair is set for the desk but your feet do not rest comfortably on the floor. Start by checking your chair height, the space under your desk and the position of both feet. Then compare the adjustment range, platform size and mechanism of each footrest against those measurements.

The Ergoapt Stretch Footrest has three footplate heights: 9, 12 and 15 cm. Its footplate measures 42 × 30.5 cm and it includes a raised padded bar. The Stretch is intended for seated foot support and is not designed to be stood on.

An adjustable footrest is not automatically the right fit for every desk. Compare your required height, available floor area, preferred adjustment method and the current product instructions before choosing. A wider adjustment range does not by itself make one model more suitable.
